The University of Oklahoma's bachelor's degree program in computer science is designed to provide you with a range of technical and non-technical skills, such as the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, design computer systems, apply mathematical principles to computer design and develop software. During your senior year, you complete a software engineering design project. Additionally, you can enhance your learning through extracurricular activities, such as the annual programming contest.


University of Tulsa

Your bachelor's program curriculum is grounded in math and science and includes classes such as calculus, chemistry, physics and differential equations. Additionally, you take classes to learn about data structures, operating systems, algorithms and computer architecture. The University of Tulsa's computer science program participates in Cyber Corps, which allows the school to receive millions of federal dollars to put toward information security research. The program is open to all eligible computer science students and provides opportunities to work with government agencies on complex information security matters.
