Milwaukee is one of only two research universities located in the state, with resources that include a
comprehensive network of research centers dedicated to areas like computational robotics, software engineering, cryptography and language processing. Throughout your studies, you'll
explore an array of areas that may include data structures,
computer architecture, algorithms and discrete information structures. In a
ddition to classroom-based learning, you'll have the opportunity to train through internships, co-op work experience and study abroad programs.
Marquette's bachelor's degree program in computer science is comprised of internship opportunities, research labs, a set of general education course topics and a slew of core courses in computer science, which include hardware systems, programming, operating systems and software design. In addition to the traditional courses, you'll also be required to complete a design project during your senior year.
